An explosive dust atmosphere exists in the raw gas compartment of the Herding filter unit depending on the operating mode of the cleaning system. The Herding^® sinter-plate filter acts as a DustExZoneBarrier and no explosive dust atmosphere exists on the clean gas side.

Beneficios

The units situated downstream from the Herding^® filter unit need to be designed only for the simple safe zone and are not required to be configured with explosion protection features.
